Company Renamed in Wake of Survey Success
“NetVersant” is now “NetVital”

Clearwater, Florida, April 28, 2025 -- In the wake of a stunning launch success, corporate software direct marketer NetVersant Technologies has adopted the name of its free online IT research program. Billed as "the ongoing survey of enterprise-grade network issues", the NetVital Survey (www.netvital.com/hotinfo/index.html) polls a select panel of MIS executives and then publishes key results freely.

The maiden poll tackled the issue of Network Security, and the results were important enough to warrant an "Alert" to the 1.5 million subscribers on Jesse Berst’s AnchorDesk. Annette Hamilton, AnchorDesk’s executive producer, commented at the time: "Once Jesse and I reviewed the data, we made the decision to go to press quickly. The industry benefits from this type of timely information on IT issues."

"We’re floored by the success of this survey", says Riggs Eckelberry, NetVital’s V.P. Marketing. "Panel membership has doubled since the survey began this month, and all that for just an early look at some hot IT information. So we’ll keep making sure the results are worth it," continues Eckelberry. Panelists may sign up by going directly to the NetVital Survey site at www.netvital.com/hotinfo/index.html.

The survey is run by independent research organization and online surveying pioneer World Research. Founder and President Michael Bach remarks: "You just don’t see 40% of IT execs respond to an online survey. I think there’s lots of interest in seeing what MIS thinks about issues in real time."

"We learned that our name was confusing to some in our audience, so we decided to associate the company with its most visible Net vehicle," added Eckelberry.

The NetVital Survey launches a new topic every other week to a panel of over 2,000 IT professionals. Membership in the panel is free, and panelists who fill out surveys are given first access to the results. Upcoming topics include Website Management, Hot IT Issues, Workstation Cloning, Year 2000 Failure, Data Bridging, Relevance of Java, ERP & the heterogeneous environment, and Zero Administration vs. Network Terminals.
