JAMES D. ALGER
Jim Alger joined the Board of Directors when NetVersant acquired its seven founding companies in February 2000. Mr. Alger has served as President of New York City-based Intelligent Building Systems since he founded the company in 1995. During his career, he has also served as Vice President of E. J. Telecommunications (1991 - 1995), Project Manager for George Kleinknecht Telecommunications (1986 - 1991) and in various positions with AT&T.;SCOTT L. FORDHAM
Scott Fordham is Chairman of the Board, President and Chief Executive Officer of NetVersant Solutions. He was involved in the organization of the Company and the acquisition of the founding companies. Mr. Fordham has extensive experience managing and operating a geographically diverse multi-location business, which is important in light of NetVersant"s long-term growth strategy.
From September 1997 until September 1999, Mr. Fordham served as Executive Vice President - Operations of publicly traded Consolidated Graphics, Inc., with printing companies operating in 25 states and annualized revenues of approximately $650 million. He was involved in the day-to-day operations and supervision of operating units across the country. From April 1991 until August 1998, Mr. Fordham held various positions, including President beginning in February 1993, with Chas. P. Young Co., a financial printer and wholly-owned subsidiary of Consolidated Graphics, Inc. From May 1981 until April 1991, Fordham, who is a Certified Public Accountant, held various positions with Arthur Andersen LLP, most recently as Senior Manager in the firm's audit practice. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Texas at Austin.GREG McKOWN
Greg McKown joined the Board of Directors in July 2005. Mr. McKown serves as Vice President and Chief Information Officer of publicly traded Comfort Systems USA, Inc. where he is responsible for the company’s information technology activities. Mr. McKown previously served as Chief Executive Officer for three years of Hostcentric, a managed hosting company, and was the Chief Executive for 13 years at Maxim Computer Systems, a local and wide area networking provider that reached the Inc 500’s list of fastest-growing private companies in 1997. He started his information technology career at Harris Corporation where he held both field engineering and sales positions.WILLIAM F. MURDY
Bill Murdy became a director of NetVersant in February. Mr. Murdy is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Comfort Systems USA, Inc., a leading national provider of comprehensive HVAC services and maintenance, repair and replacement of HVAC systems. From July 1999 - June 2000, he was interim President and Chief Executive Officer of Club Quarters, a privately owned chain of membership business hotels. From January 1997 through June 1999, Mr. Murdy was President, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of publicly traded LandCare USA. From 1989 through December 1997, he was President and Chief Executive Officer of General Investment and Development Company, a privately owned real estate operating company. From 1981 to 1989, Mr. Murdy served as the Managing General Partner of the Morgan Stanley Venture Capital Fund. From 1974 to 1981, he was Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, among other positions, of Pacific Resources, Inc., a publicly traded company involved primarily in petroleum refining and marketing. Mr. Murdy holds a Bachelor of Science from the United States Military Academy at West Point and a Masters of Business Administration from Harvard University.CARL TASKALOS
Carl Taskalos became a director of NetVersant in July 2005. Since 2004, Mr. Taskalos has served on the board of directors of Fisk Electric Company, one of the nation’s largest specialty contractors that provides a variety of building systems services in the electrical construction and maintenance service industries. Mr. Taskalos was associated previously with Fisk from 1996 to 2003, serving as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer from 1996 - 1998, President & Chief Executive Officer of OneSource Building Technologies (formerly Fisk Technologies) from 1999 - 2002 and Senior Vice President and acting Chief Financial Officer in 2003. From 1979 - 1995, Mr. Taskalos was associated with Fischbach Corporation, a major New York-based electrical and mechanical construction company, as Vice President – Administration from 1994 - 1995, Corporate Controller from 1991 - 1993, Vice President – Internal Audit from 1989 - 1990 and held a number of other positions from 1979 - 1988. A Certified Public Accountant and attorney, Mr. Taskalos graduated from Rutgers College with a Bachelor of Arts, Rutgers Graduate School of Business Administration with a Master of Business Administration and Seton Hall University School of Law with a Juris Doctor.![]()
FRANK FOSTER
Frank Foster joined the Board of Directors when NetVersant acquired its seven founding companies in February 2000. Mr. Foster served as President of Washington-based Macro Com, Inc. beginning in 1996, having joined the company in 1991. NetVersant's employees, board members and friends remember with great admiration and respect the many contributions Mr. Foster made to the Company and community until his death in December 2003.
