Operations
Manager, New Horizons Computer Learning Center of Tulsa, OK.
Every night
his center usually sets up six classrooms with between 10 and 24
PCs in each room for the next day's class sessions.
"Prior to ImageCast
we were using Ghost, and loading our six classrooms took a single
tech 5 hours. The chief constraint was network bandwidth, plus the
need to closely manage the batch files and menu system. The whole
process was a nightmare."
"We were looking
for a solution that would allow us to use our existing network bandwidth
in a more efficient manner and came across ImageCast. Within just
a couple of weeks, it was obvious we had a winner. ImageCast is
a vastly superior product that increases our productivity while
decreasing hardware and administrative costs. Its multicasting capabilities
allow us to load classrooms in half the time it took using other
systems. It is also a breeze to administer. We can now get several
hours of administrative work time form our tech, who used to be
solely dedicated to loading classrooms using Ghost."

"I am the
IT Manager for New Horizons Computer Learning Centers of New Hampshire.
I have nine classroom and prior to us acquiring ImageCast our setup
time ranged from 8 to 10 hours a day. With ImageCast I can setup
an entire classroom in under 10 minutes. It is a brilliant product,
though we, as well, are running into some problems with the NT SID's."

Christian
College of Northeastern Wisconsin
"I work
at a Christian College in Northeastern Wisconsin. I have two labs
with 24 computers in each that I am responsible to maintain and
upgrade. In the past, I have had to setup each computer individually.
With myself and two others working for about 12 hours straight (36
man hours) we were able to set up both labs. This was a great inconvenience
as this setup had to take place during the evening and early morning
hours on the weekend when students were not using the labs. Another
problem that arose from setting up computers in the wee hours of
the morning with three different people was the inherent inconsistency
between computer configurations. It was because of these problems
that I went searching for a solution. I found my solution in ImageCast.
After setting up one computer exactly the way we wanted it, I saved
the Image and then proceeded to cast the image to the remaining
47 computers. The 900 MB image took only 26 min to cast. The amazing
thing is that I was casting from my computer on the other side of
campus through substandard regular phone line at a speed of less
than 5 Mbps. I can only imagine how quick it would be if I had full
bandwidth to work with. Thank you for such a reliable and easy to
use product. I don't know what I'd do without it."
