Vice President - Business Development

Hank Erkel joined NetVersant in June 2001 as Vice President - Business Development to spearhead NetVersant's proactive business development efforts through a relationship-oriented approach by identifying, developing and managing strategic relationships and partnerships with manufacturers, distributors and customers.

Since January 1983, Mr. Erkel has been associated with the AT&T;/Lucent/Avaya family of companies in a wide range of capacities. From January 1999 - December 2000, he was Sales Vice President of Lucent Technologies/Avaya where he directed the U.S. Private Network Enterprise market. From July 1997 - January 1999, Mr. Erkel served as Managing Director of AT&T;/Lucent Technologies/Bell South. From April 1991 - June 1997, he was General Sales Manager of AT&T;/Lucent Technologies, and from June 1987 - April 1991, Mr. Erkel was Assistant Vice President, State Government Affairs/Industry Relations at AT&T.; He joined AT&T; in January 1983 as Assistant Vice President, State External Affairs.

Mr. Erkel holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Masters of Business Administration from Auburn University in Auburn, Alabama. He also earned a Masters of Business Administration through the Executive Program at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania.
